Garantía
Making you feel good about your purchase during the building process is important to us, but so is making you feel good after you move in. We're proud to offer a warranty that we believe to be one of the most comprehensive in the industry. This Limited Warranty provides you peace of mind, as it is administered by Professional Warranty Service Corporation, an independent third party.
What's important to understand is not only how long the warranty lasts, but what it covers. Many builders focus their warranties on structural issues. At Beazer Homes, we feel so confident about the performance of our homes we go well beyond structural issues to even cover construction defects as defined by our warranty for 5 to 10 years, depending on your state.
The warranty covers materials and workmanship, as outlined in the Performance Quality Standards, for the first year after the date that you close. There is continuing coverage through the second year that includes specific components of your major mechanical systems and electrical system as outlined in the Performance Quality Standards. Most notably, the Limited Warranty covers defined construction defects for the entire warranty period, which varies by state. However, the Limited Warranty doesn't cover any typical homeowner maintenance items such as changing your light bulbs or replacing your air filters.
Your kitchen appliances, air conditioning and heating, and roof, just to name a few examples, are covered by the manufacturers' warranties that Beazer passes along to you at closing (settlement). These manufacturers' warranties supplement the protection offered by the Limited Warranty.
In addition, the Limited Warranty can be transferred to another buyer if you sell your home within the warranty period. It all adds up to a higher measure of protection now and more value for your home when it comes time to sell.
